Last spring, North Central Group (NCG) and Deer District unveiled the concept of the newest lodging experience – The Trade Milwaukee, an Autograph Collection Hotel by Marriott. To run this new hotel, The Trade is excited to welcome 32-year industry veteran Rich Lundt as the General Manager to lead the hotel in providing unique, high-end accommodations in the heart of Deer District.

As General Manager of The Trade, Lundt will supervise all day-to-day operations of the hotel, including guest management and events, as well as ensuring the high-end restaurants will make the hotel a hub for all guests coming to Milwaukee. Additionally, Lundt’s experience has given him invaluable knowledge running multiple food and beverage outlets as well as convention, meeting and event spaces. His successful partnerships with professional sports teams in Dallas make him the perfect fit for The Trade Milwaukee, located next to Fiserv Forum, home of the Milwaukee Bucks.

“We are truly excited to welcome Richard (Rich) Lundt back home to the NCG Family! His vision and experience will create an atmosphere that will draw guests from across the country to the heart of Deer District,” said Jonathan Bogatay, CEO at NCG. “We are excited to see The Trade flourish under Rich’s leadership.”

“NCG is best in class, and their commitment to excellence shows in their values to improve communities through building strong relationships with local organizations,” said Rich Lundt. “I am honored to be appointed as the new General Manager for The Trade Milwaukee. Making The Trade the best hotel in Wisconsin starts by immersing myself in the Milwaukee community. I am dedicated to improving visitors’ experience in Milwaukee as a whole because enhancing their overall visit will improve our ability to distinguish The Trade as an authentic experience for all who visit. ”

The Trade will be a high-end, luxury experience for those visiting or living near Milwaukee. Its convenient location next to Fiserv Forum gives visitors easy access to the venue and the entertainment block in Deer District. Groundbreaking for The Trade began in the Fall of 2021 and is anticipated to open in early 2023. To learn more about The Trade, visit thetradehotel.com.
